1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Auryn International Private Limited (”we”, “us” or “Auryn Connect”) handles information in connection with the Auryn Connect website, platform and related services. We are developing business connectivity software that links authorized messaging, commerce and workflow systems, beginning with WhatsApp.

2. Operator and scope

Auryn Connect is operated by Auryn International Private Limited, which is based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This Policy covers our public website, future business accounts, enabled integrations and support interactions.

When a customer business determines why and how its end-customer data is processed, that business may be the data controller and Auryn Connect may act as its service provider or processor, subject to applicable agreements and law.

3. Information we may collect

Depending on the service stage and features a business enables, information may include:

  • Business account information: names, work contact details, organization details, roles, preferences and support correspondence.
  • Technical information: device, browser, network, security, diagnostic and event information needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Integration configuration: identifiers, permissions, settings and connection state for services authorized by the business.

The current public website does not provide sign-up, newsletter or contact-form collection and does not install nonessential analytics or advertising trackers.

4. Messaging and WhatsApp information

When an authorized business enables messaging functionality, integration information may include business account identifiers, WhatsApp Business Account and phone-number identifiers, phone numbers, business profile information, customer phone numbers, messaging metadata, customer messages, timestamps, delivery or read status, message templates, integration configuration, and webhook or event data.

We intend to process only information made available through the permissions and functionality the business authorizes. Businesses are responsible for having an appropriate lawful basis, providing notices and obtaining any consent required for their communications.

5. Commerce, CRM and order information

Future enabled integrations may process customer identifiers, contact information, products, orders, payment state, fulfilment, tracking, cancellations, returns, refunds and related service context. We intend to process this information only as needed to provide the functionality the business has enabled.

6. How information is used

We may use information to provide and administer messaging and integration functionality; connect relevant business context; route conversations; execute requested workflows; authenticate and secure connections; provide support; diagnose faults; prevent misuse; comply with law; and improve reliability and usability.

We do not sell customer information to advertisers. We do not use the public website for behavioral advertising.

7. Workflow automation and AI-assisted features

Enabled workflows may use relevant events and business context to perform actions requested by the customer business. Businesses are responsible for reviewing their configurations and maintaining appropriate human oversight.

When future AI-assisted features are enabled by a business, relevant conversation or business data may be processed to provide requested functionality such as summarization, suggested responses, classification, routing, workflow automation or customer-support assistance. Feature-specific terms and disclosures may apply before release.

8. Connected third-party services

Connecting WhatsApp, Meta services, Shopify or another platform is voluntary and subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. Data may pass between Auryn Connect and the connected service to provide enabled features. Businesses can revoke permissions or disconnect integrations where supported. Disconnecting Auryn Connect does not itself delete information held independently by the originating service.

9. Service providers and sharing

We may use carefully selected infrastructure, communications, security, support and technology providers that process information for us under appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when directed by the customer business, to complete an enabled integration, during a lawful corporate transaction, to protect rights and safety, or where law requires.

We do not share business or end-customer data with third parties for their independent advertising.

10. Retention

We intend to retain information only for as long as needed for the enabled service, legitimate operational and security needs, contractual obligations, dispute resolution and applicable legal requirements. Retention can vary by data type, customer configuration and connected service. Information may be deleted, aggregated or anonymized when no longer required.

11. Security and international processing

The platform architecture is being designed around least privilege, secure secret handling, encrypted transport, access controls, data minimization and revocable integrations. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Our service providers or future operations may process information in countries other than the person’s location. Where applicable, we will use safeguards required for lawful international transfers.

12. Privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or request portability. End customers should usually contact the business with which they communicated first; we will support our business customers in responding where required. We may verify identity and authority before acting on a request.

13. Children

Auryn Connect is a business service and is not directed to children. Businesses must not use the service to collect children’s information contrary to applicable law or platform policies.

14. Data deletion

Instructions for disconnecting an integration and requesting deletion are available on our Data Deletion page. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.

15. Cookies and local storage

The public website may use essential browser storage for preferences such as light or dark theme. It does not currently use nonessential analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If this changes, this Policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

16. Updates and contact

We may update this Policy as the platform develops, our practices change or law requires. Material changes will be identified by the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
