Data deletion instructions

This page explains how a business account holder or an affected individual can ask Auryn International Private Limited to disconnect an integration or delete information handled through Auryn Connect. It is intended to serve as the User Data Deletion Instructions URL for connected platforms, including Meta services.

When platform settings support it, an authorized business administrator can disconnect a connected service from Auryn Connect. Disconnecting stops future data exchange after the connection is revoked, subject to events already in transit and technical processing needed to complete the request.

You should also review and revoke Auryn Connect permissions in the originating service’s account or business settings. Disconnecting does not automatically delete information already stored in Auryn Connect; use the formal request below when deletion is also required.

1. Email our privacy team at connectprivacy@auryn.co.in.
2. Use the subject “Auryn Connect Data Deletion Request”.
3. Identify the relevant business, account, phone number or integration without sending passwords, access tokens or other secrets.
4. Describe whether you request deletion of the full account, a connected integration or specific information.
5. Respond to reasonable steps we take to verify identity, authority and account ownership.

Depending on enabled functionality and what we hold, a verified request may cover account information, integration identifiers, stored conversation data, webhook or event records, commerce or customer context, and application configuration.

We will delete or anonymize information where appropriate. We may retain limited records where reasonably needed for legal obligations, fraud or abuse prevention, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or to document completion of the request.

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to applicable legal requirements. We may ask for more information if we cannot reliably locate the data or confirm that the requester is authorized. We will explain if more time is reasonably required or if a lawful exception applies.

Auryn Connect cannot directly delete information independently controlled by Meta, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Shopify or another originating provider. You may also need to remove data, revoke permissions or close accounts through that provider’s own settings and deletion processes.

If you communicated with a business that uses Auryn Connect, contact that business first because it generally controls the customer relationship and can identify the relevant records. We will support business customers with valid requests where required. You may still contact our privacy team if the business is unavailable or you believe Auryn Connect independently controls the information.
